[FARNHAM, SURREY] The 9th annual Music and/as Process Conference of Music and Interdisciplinary Practice took place at the University for the Creative Arts — Farnham Campus in mid-September and featured the work of experimental filmmaker, Michèle Saint-Michel and Dr. Sophie Stone.
With a focus on addressing interdisciplinary practices and processes, the conference screened Saint-Michel’s film for opposing walls [[even a stopped clock is right twice a day]] that features a quadraphonic score by Dr. Sophie Stone, and included presentations of papers, workshops, discussions, and a keynote address.
Due to public transportation strikes followed by the passing of HRM Queen Elizabeth II, the conference was moved online.
